Just in time for Halloween, one show truck is drawing attention for a theme that is part Mardi Gras and part graveyard.
The Trucker featured Dawson and Bobbie Taylor's 2020 Freightliner Cascadia, known as "Roll of the Dice," as its CAT Scale Rig of the Week on Oct. 24.
From a dashboard to a graveyard
According to The Trucker, the Taylors had no idea where their project would lead when they started customizing the Cascadia. What began with a colorful dashboard has grown into what the outlet called "a rolling graveyard with a personality all its own."

Purple, green and headstones
The truck wears a purple and green color scheme with custom graphics and personalized headstones, The Trucker reported. The outlet described the look as combining "Mardi Gras flair with a delightfully spooky Halloween theme."
Around back, the graveyard theme comes to life with elaborate crosses, custom artwork and decorative details that have taken years to perfect, according to the feature.
Getting it right took patience. The Taylors told The Trucker they went through four sets of headstones before the look was just right.
A bony driver at the wheel
The customizing continues inside the cab. According to The Trucker, there is "even a bony driver at the wheel."
The Taylors say the truck "practically tells them what to do next," the outlet reported. Every year brings new details, from custom wraps and murals to elaborate decorations.
The real reward
Aside from truck show trophies, the Taylors told The Trucker, the real rewards are the friendships they have made on the truck show circuit.
