Semi Truck Towing and Mobile Truck Repair
Find heavy-duty towing, truck repair shops, mobile diesel mechanics and truck tire service on a satellite map or in a plain list for every state. Tap Find help near me to see the closest listings, or filter for heavy-duty towing, mobile repair, tire service and 24/7. Tap a phone number to call the business direct.
Call to confirm. Listings come from OpenStreetMap and Overture Maps open data, not from the businesses, and may be out of date. Big Rig Daily does not check, rate or endorse any business, and no listing is paid. Call first to confirm the business handles your truck, is open, and what it will charge. If anyone is hurt or your truck is blocking traffic, call 911 first.
19,701 listings in 50 states: 643 heavy-duty towing, 777 mobile or roadside service, 2,333 tire service and 19,019 repair shops, last checked October 25, 2026. Some listings offer more than one service.

How to use the towing and repair finder
Tap Find help near me and your phone will ask to share your location. The finder then loads the nearest state and lists the 10 closest businesses with straight-line distance and a call button. Your location is only asked for when you tap the button, and it stays on your device. You can also pick a state from the list or zoom in on the map.
Use the check boxes to narrow the list. Heavy-duty towing shows towing companies. Mobile repair shows mechanics and road service that come to the truck. Tire service shows truck tire shops and road tire service. 24/7 shows businesses that list round-the-clock hours or put 24/7 in their name. Checking two boxes shows only businesses that match both.
Red pins are towing, purple pins are mobile or road service, blue pins are tire service and green pins are repair shops. The map opens in satellite view with labels; use the layer button to switch to a street map. Every state also has a plain list page grouped by interstate and city, and those pages work with JavaScript off.

Where the listings come from
Listings come from two open data sources. OpenStreetMap is the open map built by volunteers, used under the Open Database License. Overture Maps Foundation publishes places gathered from Meta, Microsoft, Foursquare, AllThePlaces and other contributors under the CDLA Permissive 2.0, Apache 2.0 and CC0 licences. We used the OpenStreetMap US extract of October 24, 2026 and the Overture release of October 21, 2026, both retrieved October 25, 2026. We did not use review sites, paid lists or search engine listings.
We keep car repair, towing and tire businesses only when there is a truck signal. A business is listed when it is tagged for trucks or heavy vehicles on OpenStreetMap, when its name says truck, semi, trailer, fleet, heavy-duty or a truck tire brand, or when it is a diesel shop or listed as truck repair. Diesel shops and businesses listed only as truck repair are marked call to confirm heavy-duty service. Towing companies with no truck signal are left out, because most of them tow cars. Where both sources list the same business, it is shown once.
Each listing shows its name, phone and address exactly as the source has them, in plain letters, and names its source. Services come only from the source tags and categories, and 24/7 only from tagged opening hours or the business name. The city comes from the address, or from the Census place the business sits in. The interstate is the nearest one within 15 miles, measured in a straight line. Towing listings in Washington and New York City are checked by name against the state and city tow licence lists, and a match is noted on the listing.
Frequently Asked Questions
Are these towing and repair companies checked or endorsed?
No. Big Rig Daily does not inspect, rate or endorse any business, and no business pays to be listed. Listings come from OpenStreetMap and Overture Maps open data. In Washington and New York City, towing listings are matched by name against the Washington Department of Licensing tow truck operator list and the NYC Department of Consumer and Worker Protection tow licence list, and a match is shown on the listing.
Does every listing tow or fix big trucks?
Not always. Listings tagged for heavy vehicles or with truck, semi, trailer, fleet or heavy-duty in the name are the most likely. Diesel shops and shops listed only as truck repair are marked call to confirm heavy-duty service. Always tell the business your truck, trailer and load before they roll.
What should I do right after a breakdown?
Get as far off the road as you can and turn on your hazard lights. Federal rule 49 CFR 392.22 says to set out your warning triangles within 10 minutes: one about 10 feet behind the truck on the traffic side, one about 100 feet behind and one about 100 feet ahead. On a divided highway, put them 10, 100 and 200 feet behind the truck. If anyone is hurt or the truck blocks traffic, call 911. The roadside breakdown checklist walks through the rest, and what it costs to tow a semi explains how towing bills work.
Does the finder show if a business is open now?
No. Only some listings have hours in the source, and the 24/7 filter uses only tagged hours or the business name. Call to confirm the business is open and can reach you.
How do I fix or add a listing?
You can add or fix a business for everyone on OpenStreetMap at openstreetmap.org, or email [email protected] and we will look at it when we refresh the data. We do not add businesses by hand.
Do I need an app or an account?
No. It is a web page that works in any phone browser with no sign-up. The map loads only when you scroll to it, and it loads one state at a time. The state lists work even with a weak signal or with JavaScript off.
