Roehl Transport Offers Experienced CDL-A Truckers Up to $10,000 in Retention Pay for Joining Between Nov. 2 and the Week of Dec. 14

Roehl Transport has announced a retention incentive worth up to $10,000 for experienced CDL-A truck drivers who join the company in the next several weeks. The details come from Roehl's own announcement, updated Nov. 2, 2026. Everything below is the company's description of its own program, and Big Rig Daily has not independently verified the terms or the company's claims. Big Rig Daily previously reported on Roehl's retention incentive; this report covers the details published Nov. 2.

How the incentive works
Roehl says the incentive applies to most of its fleets and is open to experienced CDL-A drivers who join beginning Nov. 2, 2026, through the week of Dec. 14, 2026. According to the company, a driver receives a first $500 payment after hauling the first load, followed by $500 every 10,000 miles, up to a total of $10,000.
Big Rig Daily's own arithmetic: a first payment of $500 plus 19 more payments of $500 comes to $10,000, which would take 190,000 miles at one payment per 10,000 miles. That figure is not from Roehl, and the company does not state a timeline.

Who is eligible
Roehl lists these requirements. Drivers must:
- Have six months or more of recent regional or over-the-road (OTR) experience.
- Be in orientation by Dec. 14, 2026, and be hired by Dec. 18, 2026.
- Be actively employed with Roehl at the time of payout.
- Be on a retention incentive fleet and live in the retention incentive domicile area.
The announcement does not list which fleets or domicile areas qualify. Truckers interested in the program are directed to call Roehl at 715-591-7050.
What Roehl says about itself
In the announcement, Tim Norlin, Roehl's vice president of driver employment, said the company enhanced its pay package with retention incentives for current drivers "because we believe experience, commitment and longevity should be rewarded." He described the new program as extending that approach to experienced drivers.
The company also says it has increased driver pay twice in 2026 and recently delivered compensation increases for owner-operators who partner with it. It describes itself as a five-time recipient of the American Trucking Associations' President's Award for safety and says it will celebrate 65 years in business in 2027. These are the company's claims.
What to ask before signing
The announcement does not give pay rates, home time for each fleet or the full terms of a payout. Truckers weighing any retention package may want to ask a recruiter for the terms in writing, including what happens if a driver leaves or changes fleets before a payment date. That is general advice and not a statement about Roehl's policies.
